#YellowIsForHello Lip Sync Battle

Get your friends together to show who’s the meanest lip syncers around, and claim bragging rights while supporting your fellow students!

The Challenge

Calling all HIGH SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES, SPORT TEAMS, DANCE SCHOOLS and/or FRATERNITIES/SORORITIES! Have the chops to claim the title? Bold enough to speak up for those who can’t?

Register your team in our first annual #YellowIsForHello’s Lip Sync Battle!

We’re challenging all Canadian students to film and post a lip-synced video to an inspirational song whose lyrics speak to other students struggling with cyber-bullying, anxiety, or depression.

You pick the song…gather a team of students…film an innovative lip sync music video…and post!

It’s that easy!

The lip sync video that gathers the most attention AND impresses our panel of judges with its positive mental health message, imagery, and enthusiasm, wins!  The winning school team will claim bragging rights as well as a Friendship Bench for your school!

If you already have a bench at your school, we will donate a second – or, how about Paying It Forward and donating to a school in need in one of our smaller communities in Canada?

Meet Our Judges

Greg Mackling, Talk Radio Host, 680 CJOB, Winnipeg, MB

As a father of 11 year-old twin boys, I am committed to ensuring my children, your children, OUR children: all have a safe place to talk about their emotions, and the things we as parents all too often mistake as “essential lessons” in growing up. Seventy per-cent or more of being a talk radio host is actually listening. Perhaps that ratio should apply to parenting, as well.

Erica Ehm, CEO, Ehm & Co., and Yummy Mummy Club

Erica Ehm is an author, speaker, performer, producer and award-winning songwriter. She is the creator and leading force behind Ehm & Co, a native advertising/influencer marketing consultancy and the award-winning digital publication, YMC .ca (YummyMummyClub.ca). Erica’s proudest achievements are her 2 great kids, Josh and Jessie, and rock’n roll husband, Terry.

Sean Mealand, Maglin Site Furniture

Sean has been involved with The Friendship bENCH program since it began. Maglin is a proud supporter of PROGRAM and the difference it has made in the lives of children, teenagers and adults of all ages. Sean’s interests include spending time with his wife and two boys aged 2 and 4 years old. He also enjoys playing sports and listening to music.

What are you waiting for?
